Who We Are

We are Caro and Maria, two sisters born and raised in a small town in the beautiful mountains of Colombia. We grew up surrounded by nature, tropical plants, and fresh food that came straight from the farms. We inherited much of our love for nature and medicinal plants from our grandmothers and parents, who used plants and food as medicine.  

Moving to the United States brought many changes to our lifestyles. Our lives became fast paced, stressful and overall unhealthy. Our bodies reacted to these changes bringing hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, anxiety, and inflammation. That sparked a journey for both of us — a search for healing, balance, and harmony through natural living.

Maria dived deeply into holistic skin care, and Caro immersed herself in the world of Mind-Body Wellness & Energy Healing. We fell in love with alternative healing practices, rituals, and self-care. Through our journeys, we reconnected with our true essence and discovered how to live naturally and healthfully, even in a modern, busy world.

We believe in a lifestyle rooted in nature’s medicine — free from harmful chemicals that impact both our health and the planet. We believe that as humans, our purpose is to return to our roots, living consciously and in harmony with the Earth.

Self-care and rituals are essential to this vision — moments where we reconnect with ourselves, honor our bodies, and nurture our spirit.

This shared passion for nature and holistic healing inspired us to create Calma Rituals — a self-care brand crafted with intention, care, and respect for the Earth. Every product is 100% natural, chemical-free, and handmade in small batches with powerful plant extracts and loving intention.
